Ever dream you're an animal? Prey? A Hunter?

Darks eyes waiting knowing and closed,
Timing is everything in the shadow fields.
Flashes of moon through the skeleton trees,
Glows for a moment the color of bleeding skin.
Pale light burning and changing something watching with patience,
Breath on the neck, tensions are budding.
Yellow flesh weathered fangs suspended idle just and instinct away,
Cradling my delicate spine in a cushion of air.
Choice is plenty, hope is none, wait for that instant blindly, or turn towards head on…

My February moon rises up to beautiful song,
Winter ravaged honeysuckle sheds their sweet smell for the fragrance of death.
My worlds a circle blackening from the out side in,
The last that I felt, is the warm blood from my head poor down my chest.
I died in my dream to a hot strange cold sweat,
A subconscious after life on my double stuffed sofa
Feeling for blood and gasping for air.

And the screams from my dreams still aiding my rest... Q.B.S.

Have you ever had that dream? The one with me'

overwhelming is this unknown world, and yet our time here in this place is indefinite at best' we're very well certain that peril is lurking in the arid stillness? The dream where we're drifting aimlessly with no direction' beneath a high ceiling made of eerie willow trees, where the air is stagnant, hot, and empty and when' at least the fear of you is dead in me.

Two fights of nature are hindering our headway finding solace. The early morning perspiration stinging our eyes temporarily blind' and the pale burn of the ghostly shadows casted from descending moon light falling through the wilting canopy.

Both will shed doubt upon us then carve a path towards treachery, so hold my hand, parasite; before you bite, you may change your mind.

And another, then another… forced footsteps push past these damp debris and fears of our's.These are just terror's first born hesitations, more are still ahead of us.

For scattered about the forest floor, their calling out by morbid howls; they are the endless waiting souls are with him, he keeps them shackled here.

Here where skeletal glimpses of razor teeth and flaming eyes' timelessly tearing at each passer by like you and me. .

Willing to be had by suffering's reaching hand

Being touch means death instantly,

Walking quicker in this evil forest

He dies to take, he's waiting for us

Breaking from our forward motion.

Pacing each other incrementally. A broken run' to falling from, in speed collapsed' and crumbled down, from a hard tumble' to motionlessly lying on the wet warm ground. Crashed and laying low' we've cut our bodies completely over' in a thicket of poison barbs now our blood runs cold and seeps together.

Held by horror inside the thoughts of past companions trapped here in ashes laying all around us mixed with bits of un-burnt bone,

Our sight is lost in raging thunder' sporadically casting us in a deceptive glow.

In near total darkness the moon light fails us.

Its lost behind the bleeding clouds now the night's lonely trepidations reign triumphant.

with growing fears our panting breath began to shortened at first, then thier held in quietly, The nights new sounds are two beating hearts and crickets chirping but then all found common silence, something's wrong, something's moving, something's coming; a disturbing essence so enticing even small bugs now sink and hide below their own fear of dying,

not one owl houwls nor do cickets cherp,

A few near by soul scream out their ghostly warning's, sounded so loudley in our heads that they might come true.

"Hold so very still he just may pass you",

"Hold your bodies dear and as for your life' well hold that closer"

"He's coming",

"He's searching"

"I'm standing oar' you"

Frozen by the new value of life together, laying down while facing earth, and peering off into the missing sureness, Empty is bred by darkness here. I can see the claws ripping at the ground beside you. He'd feel the heat off your breath if you exhaled and even worst I can't save you' taring me inside and turning us forward to see your blackened reflection; as if a mirror lay before us. Focusing in, I'm sure to see; your shadowy reflections blinks off key, with deader eyes and sharpened bloody teeth giving new birth to the oldest fears, I wonder if you see the same thing in me.

.

And in this night and wicked place' life waits no longer

Both had strong bodies, this fear's much stronger,

With eyes and mouth open wide' glassed over an absent of breath.

One last stand, both broken now and scared to death.

Hydrophobia

I knew I was sleeping this time & I think I yelled out for help.

I seen the same field of tall aspen trees.
My entire horizon was encompassed with the high mountain forest
The blue moon's light was scattered
It dances with the shadows of the leaves in the breeze.
I ran so fast running past my self trying to get away from where I knew I was headed.
The empty feelings found in meaning when I seen the water I have seen before.
I cast my self down with my own momentum, its not worth the fight I know I am dreaming again, I still fight and struggle just incase.
I am swallowed by my icy black lake,
Peering up again I am drowning.
Eyes closed tight, the sudden realization it's not helping,
I don't want to be blind at my last second.
Life escaping passing through bubbles from of my nose,
I know it's the countdown tell the deadly cold, one of life's bubbles then two then all at once the rest.
and try and imagine a labored winter's breath pulling the cold deep into your lungs times ten. you don't breath out again.
I still see the trees they are still there but I notice this time their with leaves and find my last comfort in knowing some things do change the rest is the same.
Darkness covers everything.
